Learn how to bind a quilt! We will discuss the importance of bias binding with hands on learning. We will demonstrate the Creative Grids binding ruler and show how easy it is to cut bias strips.
Each participant needs to bring a sewing machine and black thread (good quality - no Coats and Clark).

This quilt is based on the Jane A Stickle quilt made in 1963. It is similar to the Dear Jane quilt by Brenda Papdakis. We have developed both English paper piecing and foundation quilting patterns for all 334 blocks! They are available for FREE for members.
Bring your supplies and work on the blocks. There is no direct instruction during this workshop. This is a time to get together with other people who want to make this quilt.

The storybook Man in the Moon has a contented smile on his face as he gently snoozes in the sky. Below is a fluttering white Ermine Moth. Learn how to piece this adorable truck pillow! This pillow covers topics in applique, foundation paper piecing and traditional piecing. This is great for anyone who wants to learn some new techniques as there is just a little bit of each so it is not daunting. We will cover just the basics in freezer paper applique and fpp. There is just enough time in class to talk about these basics - the pillow top is not expected to be finished in class.

Join the monthly fun! Meet others who love machine embroidery. (Any size and brand of embroidery machine is welcome). Join us for a fun project to learn the basics of hooping and how to solve common problems. If you don't have a machine, let us know and you can rent one for $10!
Bring your current project and stitch along with other cross stitch lovers! For beginners, we can point you to a good starting project and explain the basics! There is no direct instruction during this time, but there is free coffee! Bring a mug and make some coffee in our Keurig!

I've always been fascinated by the long arms and make an attempt to play with them whenever I can. I signed up for the long arm certification class with Emily and was not disappointed in her instructions! She was very patient and knowledgeable, while maintaining a refreshing sense of humor.
